The supplied AWS deployment includes nightly database dumps, 35-day point-in-time recovery and cross-region document replication. Confirm retention and recovery settings for your deployment.

Cross-region point-in-time recovery
Restore to any second of the last 35 days, from a copy kept in another region.
Document replication
Attachments, papers and bills are copied to the second region as they arrive. A deleted file stays recoverable for 90 days, so a restored database finds every file it names.
Document retention settings
Per kind of document: forever, a year, 90 or 30 days - or, for a letter's attachments, only the text read out of them. Each file is stored once, however many letters carry it.
